My Morning Coffee…

It was time to get Breanna a new bike. Not because her bike was old or ruined, but because she outgrew it.  LOL… I got to laugh, she looked so funny riding her old bike. Her knees where up to her chest and past the handle bars. It was a sight!!!

Her new bike is really nice. It’s an 18 speed and really fast (so I been told). Breanna picked it out, it was only fair… she paid for part of it out of her birthday money I think she invested her money into something worth while. I just hope she doesn’t outgrow this one so fast. This makes her 3rd bike in 3 1/2 years.

I have taken a couple of pictures this evening of Breanna’s garden and thought I better add them now. I don’t want winter to come and finally add these Breanna and her cousin actually planted all this by seed. I had to wait for the plants to get big enough to know what they were. I know they planted peppers too, but I haven’t seen any of them yet. PLUS, some of the seeds weren’t actually “planted” … they just through the seeds into the garden. I think they got bored…I am surprised they came up. We have pumpkins with the beans and beans with the watermelon and so on…. LOL

But it’s Breanna’s garden so I guess it ok, they did have fun and they are ACTUALLY growing. If I would take my time and plant them nice and neat they would never come up… I do not have a green thumb like Breanna does!

FINALLY!!

Breanna is out of school and past to second grade. She will still be in Daybrook, but this will be her last year there. She is a little nervous about going to a bigger school when she hits 3rd grade… LOL poor kid!

Breanna’s 8th birthday was really nice, she had some classmates here for her birthday and really enjoyed that. She got to play with her friends since school was out. Breanna  got some really nice gifts for her birthday also. I think she received around $40.00 to spend on things she wanted and I got her a Nintendo DS Lite (pink of course) and 9 games to go with it. Plus she got clothing, books, and art supplies.

Now Breanna has found another sport she likes to play…. Badminton. Not only do I run around nuts all day at work, but now I come home and play badminton with her. When I FINALLY get to bed … I am BEAT!!! But, it is good exercise for both of us so I guess I can’t argue about that.  She is getting better where I only run around the yard after the “birdie” part of the time now.

Breanna’s garden is doing well too. She has cucumbers, cauliflower, watermelon, peppers, beans, carrots, pumpkin, and corn all coming along nicely. I will have to take some pictures of this and add them on here. I was surprised at how fast they grew. The only part of it that stinks in the weeds, I swear they grow over night!! She is always plunking weeds from her garden.

Breanna had a ball during her field trip to Pittsburgh. She seen a lot of great things and was even amazed by some of them. Breanna loved seeing the dinosaurs the most. She said they were kind of “creepy” though because of their size… LOL!! She seen a Crystal Skull, gems from around the world, displays of wild animals like bears and large cats, but her favorite was the dinos, of course! She went nuts at the gift shop spending all but a dollar and some cents… she came home with a big bag of goodies though! She hopes that someday she will be able to go back…. she loved it and had a lot of fun!

All About Breanna
Breanna… where to start? LOL
First I have to say she is my life. I don’t know what I would do without her, or where I would be without her. She makes me laugh when I am feeling down. Breanna loves life and it rubs off on everyone who is around her.

Breanna loves to do a lot of the same things I do. This is no doubt that this is my little girl! … LOL
One of these things is drawing. She LOVES to draw!! Either it be on paper or on the computer you will find her making something

She also has a burning desire to learn. It doesn’t matter what it is she wants to know why, and how.
Breanna learned how to write and type her name when she was 2 1/2
Before she started school she all ready knew how to count to 100, all her colors, all her shapes, how to tie her shoes, all her alphabet… and the list goes on. Her latest desire has been math! … LOL … she is adding numbers together and loves it…. this she doesn’t get from me!!…I hate math.

When I enrolled her in Kindergarten Ms. Sherry, her teacher, asked her what she was going to learn this year since she knew so much already. Her answer to this was “learn to read”.
