My Morning Coffee…

Well, with the summer almost here things have gotten busy around here. Breanna will be out of school in a month, and her birthday is right after that. It seems like she just started school, not about to get out Breanna is getting excited about being out for the summer and having her party soon. I think I have a list as long as my arm for her gifts. Little does she know I already got her gift for her birthday. HAHA!!!! I can’t mention it yet on here (she can read REALLY well for only being in 1st grade). But, I will be sure to add some pictures of her party and gifts on here when we have her party.

Work has been nuts too! Pretty soon we will be booked solid again, with graduation and football coming up again. I am NOT looking forward to this at all. I was told that graduation brings in some REALLY rude parents. I am not talking about high school grads, no I mean college grads. Our hotel is only a fourth of a mile from the college so we get A LOT of parents. OH BOY!!! Football season I did work last year and I know for a fact we get all the drunkin’ college students and fans. They are some the messiest people. But, I love my job (most of the time) so I just grin and bear it!

I need to buy some new books. I have read the Twilight Saga 3 times now. Can you say obsessed??? I love to read when I have the time and I think I know these books inside and out. Now I really need something new. But, I will be the first to admit I am totally in love with Twilight. It doesn’t help that Breanna is too She only seen the movie Twilight so far. She has asked about what happens in the other books so she pretty much knows the whole story even though she didn’t read them. She is waiting to see New Moon when it comes out. I have decided to take her to see it.

I would stop in quick and let everyone know I am still alive … kind of.

I am beat. Work is kicking my ass and I only have one day off this week and that Sunday, by then I am going to need a week off to recover. Oh, by the way the guy they just hired is no longer there. The owner fired him. This is the first person I know of that he fired. Most of the time the supervisor does the firing. He must have been REALLY bad!!! THANK GOD!

Breanna is going on her school trip on the 24th, I will be uploading some pics from it … eventually. That is if they come out alright. She will be the one taking them. They are going to the Museum of Natural History ( dinosaurs). She better get me some GOOD pics of those. Since I have to work that day and can’t go…. work SUCKS sometimes!!

Easter was really nice even though it was kind of cool here. Breanna got a new basket of goodies from the Easter Bunny. Plus, we are going bike shopping on the 1st of May. I promised her a new bike since she is outgrowing hers. She looks funny riding. Her knees are up to her chest now… LOL

Like everything else I waited until the last minute to file my taxes. I did it on the 14th Well, at least they got done. See, I told you all I have no time for anything. Even this…. something to get money back and I still have no time for it…. damn. Hope it slows down soon!!!

Thank you Myspace!!!

Over the last year I can say that I am happy to have a Myspace page. First there was my oldest daughter who lives in Pa with her boyfriend. I didn’t have contact with her for almost 5 years until I found her on Myspace almost a year ago.  She has grown into a very pretty young lady who has filled some of her dreams. She is very smart and pretty much knows what she wants out of life. I wish I was so sure of what I wanted at her age!! I can honestly say that I am VERY proud of her.

Then about 6 months ago I heard from my best friend from high school, also due to Myspace. She went as far as hiring a private investigator to find me, but turns out in the end he didn’t … she did on Myspace. We used to be joined at the hip when we were in school. She was this rough and touch tom boy that didn’t take shit from anyone. It didn’t matter if you were male or female if she had a problem with you she would let you know. Now she has 2 lovely children, doing well for herself and isn’t as much as a tom boy as she was when we were kids. I still love her to death!

And just recently I found a few of my other friends that I grew up with. I was one of the boys as far as they were concerned. We hung out at each others houses and when you found one you found us all. I have always wondered what happened to my “gang” of friends from the lake were I pretty much grew up. I did find a few of them and its great knowing that they are all still around. I thought about these guys over the years and never forgot how special they were to me

Its awesome now that I can talk to them on here (computer) and on the phone. I am thankful for Myspace now!!!!

LOL… sorry I just need to laugh! I bought Twilight at 12:20 am Saturday morning, but didn’t get to watch it until last night with my daughter (thanks to work). I was so excited about having it and ended up waiting any way.

Breanna loved it and I think she will watch it again. She also said that she wants to see New Moon when it comes out in November. I hope she can sit through a movie that isn’t animation. She went to see Happy Feet, Bolt and a few others but they were cartoons. This one isn’t so I guess we will see

The movie was good, but did not do the book justest. I  think I would have liked the movie better if I would not have read the book first. There was A LOT left out in the movie and lot was changed too. One of the biggest things about the movie that I didn’t like was they didn’t capture the love Bella and Edward had for one another like the book it. The book gave the impression that they were inseparable, but you didn’t get the same strong love out of the movie. Don’t get me wrong I like the movie and glad I bought it, but I like the book better.

I just can’t wait to see how New Moon is going to be. There is a lot going on in the book and I wonder how much they are going to cut out to make the movie short as possible. I sure hope they keep the movie like the book was written. It is going to be a shame to change it just to make a movie. Wonder how they are going to do Jacob when he turns into the Werewolf?!?!?

Work sure has picked up lately. I am lucky to have the time for scratching my ass let a lone post on here. I try to get on as much as possible, but if you don’t hear from me in a little while its only because I am busy not because I forgot about my readers I won’t do that to you!! Plus, the weather is starting to get nice again. Its been miserable here. One day its in the 70’s and the next its in the 30’s. Its no wonder why people are sick. I missed a week of work because of having a cold.

Can you believe that Easter is right around the corner?? Holy shit I am glad to see that winter is on its way out but I can’t believe that Easter is so close. Maybe its because everyday seems to run into one another because of work?!?! I am no where near ready for Easter. It seems like I just got past Christmas now its time for another holiday.

I also found the time FINALLY to get Breanna’s computer networked to the Internet. God, if that wasn’t a chore. Hooking it up was easy, finding the time was horrible, but its finally done. She is having a fit though about Toon Town. Half the time she can’t get on because of a warning about the Internet being disconnected. Then when she does get on she plays for a short time and then is kicked off. As far as I know this is the only site that this happens with. I have no damn idea why, but it drives up both NUTS!!!

I go back to work tomorrow. I was told that we lost 2 employees while I was off, the GM and a housekeeper. It would be so nice if we could find someone who would stay for more than a few weeks, if that. We have the worst turnover possible. I don’t think it’s that bad, but I guess they do. The property is kind of hard to work because it’s all outside, but it’s not worth quitting over. We had one girl who was there for one day and called the following day saying she quit, good lord at least give it a chance!!! It’s a great job for losing weight. I think I lost about 10-15 pound. The bad thing about it was I only weighed 120 when I started. Now they are telling me at work I am going to blow away, this is their fault for working me so hard…. LOL

Well, I am honest say I am so looking forward to Sunday. I am so tired tonight!!

I deleted my old other blog tonight and added the posts here. I thought this blog was long gone but since I found this one still on-line I decided to keep it

I am picking up Breanna’s computer tomorrow from the shop. They cleaned it up and have it running again. The damn piece of junk is going to cost me $100 without the hardware to hook her up to the net. I am going to get a hub and cable for her computer. I was told not to buy a router because they are more of a problem than good. I don’t know… all I do know is I want it hooked up to the DSL box and don’t care how its done anymore!!

Work has picked up lately, I never know when I will be getting off now. Today we had a ton of rooms that has young kids in them. I HATE these rooms. You need a bulldozer to clean them up and I don’t think they been taught manners either!!

Well my sister has finally gotten her home ready to move in. She is moving right now as I write this She seems happy with it. I haven’t been over to see it yet but I was told its a real mess in the winter. Her road is dirt and they don’t do nothing with it, I guess living on a hill don’t help either .

Breanna is finishedwith school too. Her last day was on the 4th. She had her graduation and a little party. Speaking of parties, tomorrow is her Birthday Party. She turned 7 today!! I can’t believe she is 7 all ready. Where did the time go??? This weekend will be hoppin’, Tomorrow is her party and a cookout. Plus we are having something small for my mom and dad. Their birthday is both on the 1st. Then on Sunday we are going to Valley Worlds of Fun for MiniatureGolf and bowling. Plus they have a million other things there too. I will be adding more pictures to Breannas site sometime next week. Her site can be found here. I will be adding pics of her birthday and Sunday, also some Graduation pictures.

Breanna will be going back to “school” at the end of the month. She wanted to join a program for reading. It will be held at her school from June 21st to August 1st. She told me today that she wanted to go back to school. She just got out!! I don’t know how she won’t go nuts this summer until she starts 1st grade.

Oh, I forgot to mention this before. Breanna has joined the Little Miss Pageant. They will pick a queen and have first and second place. Plus they must ride in the parade this August on the Little Miss float. You can be sure to watch for pictures and an update about this She is so excited. She wants to do it right now, but done of it happens until the middle of August. The pageant is on the 15th. Keep your fingers crossed and hope she wins something!!

AND I will be starting work outside of the house next week. I am really looking forward to this. I love the job and the woman is a real sweetie!!

SO as you can see this summer is just busy, busy, busy all ready. Can’t wai to see what else is going to happen seeing how it just started!! LOL

Wow, Its been awhile since I posted anything again Sorry, I just have not been up to doing much of anything in the last couple of months. The last 2 have been pure hell, no lie!

Its been an uphill battle with my teeth ever since I had my son and it still is. I went to the dentist on Friday and oh what a trip. I been in pain with 2 teeth for months now and finally got some one to look at it, yes shitty medical insurance! Anyway I had that much infection in my one tooth they could NOT get the needle in to numb it. So, I ended up having my one tooth pulled WITHOUT any Novocaine, talking about seeing stars. I thought I was going to pass out right there in the chair. I felt worse AFTER I had them pulled than I did before I went.

Now the infection is just about gone. They placed me on Penicillin VK and its doing the trick. Just in case you are wondering the tooth that was so bad was my front right one. I know… of all teeth!! The infection in that tooth was so bad that the roof of my mouth had a lump the size of a quarter on it. It was hard to even talk…. to sum it up it REALLY SUCKED!!!

I am not looking forward to the next couple of months either. I have decided to just have them pulled and get dentures. They will only pull a few at a time so this means A LOT of return trips.  I was told that the enamel is very thin on all my teeth and some are bad in the inside but not showing on the outside…. strange but true! So, I think it will be best to just get it over with now before I end up with another huge infection somewhere else.

If you are reading this PLEASE say a pray and keep your fingers crossed for me! I think I am going to need it.

Breanna is soon done with school. Her last day is the 6th of June, same day as her birthday!! Her trip to Pittsburgh is on the 29th and OMG she is so excited! She is planning on taking a million pictures and buying a few souvenirs. I was planning on going with her but I know with all this junk with my teeth I know I won’t be any fun So why ruin her trip…right?. The only thing that I am worried about is her motion sickness. Yes, my poor kid has been cursed with car sickness!! Its horrible. I let her ride in the front seat all the time. Even if we so with someone else. I will sit in the back and let her up front. It does work too because she hasn’t gotten sick since I started this a year ago. They do have her on medicine for it but OMG it makes her so tired and cranky! It has a sedative in it to make her sleep so she won’t be watching out the windows and such. Well most of the time she doesn’t fell asleep so she is very tired. Anyone have any suggestions???

OMG I almost forgot to tell you this!! FUNNY AND SWEET

My sweet mother drove me to the dentist so I would not have to try driving home after going through all that. Well, my daughter was going to get home before I was done so my mom stopped by the house and picked her up. Breanna totally forgot that I told her I was going to the dentist that day and ran in the house looking for me. Well my mom told her I was still at the dentist and they were coming to get me. When she got to the dentist she started crying. I looked like SHIT! Really I did, I was pail, swollen, and in A LOT of pain. Anyway, she was so worried about me she wanted to sit in the back seat with me, of course I told her no, didn’t want her sick too She kept on telling me “Mommy I was so worried about you.” The funny thing is she FORGOT I even went to the dentist!!!! But I must say when I got home she was a real sweetheart. She played her computer games and was really quiet. She was so good I dosed off on the sofa. Next thing I know B is waking me up with a bowl of Chicken Noodle soup ( which she microwaved, not cooked). I felt so bad because I could not eat it but I think she understood. See, she is a SWEETHEART!!!

I finally finished my doll bases. It took a little over 3 months to do, but I think they came out nice. Well worth the time I put into them Of course they were named after my Breanna… she is tickled pink about that.

It has been in the 70’s-80’s here during the day. I am hoping this is a good sign that winter is gone. I sure hope so. Breanna is happy with the warm weather again, she is able to play outside at school and when she comes home. She needs to run off some of that energy  

Kris and her two boys moved back in 2 days ago. She is working on fixing up a home for herself and the boys. Hopfully all will go well and she will have her home soon. Breanna is happy to have someone to play with other than myself I guess if I was her I too would like the idea of someone other than my mother …LOLI think its funny!! They keep one another busy and pretty occupied until bedtime. Plus, my sisters little one is a turd in school. So, Breanna been lecturing him about how to act in school. He is a year younger than Breanna and both are in Kindergarten.

We are slowly working on making Breanna a bigger garden this year, last year her garden done really well but was kind of small. Now I need to figure out how to keep the deer out of it…. not good!

Breanna has a trip coming up in May with her class. The lucky little monster is going to the Pittsburgh Zoo. So, I am going to send a disposal camera a long with her. I think it will be nice to have pictures from a trip like this. AND….. I don’t get to go so she was told I will have to enjoy seeing all the animals this way…. LOL she laughted at me and said “YEP!”… see a little monster!

This cold had jusy kicked my ass.  I am starting to feel a little better than I was. I have no engery at all.

God, I am so ready for Spring. It’s been pretty nice the last couple of days and it really makes one wish it would stay like that. I am not one for the cold so it will be a blessing when Spring finally does get here.

Breanna is in a hurry for Spring too. She been going outside and playing after school lately. I think she had cabin fever

Easter is right around the corner. This is Breanna’s favorite holiday so she is getting excited. I am still not used to Easter being early this year and I am hoping it doesn’t go right on by…LOL

I spent the day cleaning and I think I could go to bed now and sleep until tomorrow. I hate having this cold!! I took so much medicine it’s not funny. I pray its gone by Easter or the entire family may end up with it
